“Tom did a fantastic job in winning his first national event,” said HTA Director Ernie Katko.  “The semi-final win was a very tough match, with Tom being the excellent competitor he is, coming out on top in an exciting third set breaker. Tom has been taking his game to higher offensive levels and the results are evident.”

The win moved Fawcett to 74th in the USTA National Rankings from 98th.  He is ranked 14th in the Midwest Section.

Other HTA members in the draw were Drew Campbell, Jalen Evans, Chas Mayer, and Brandon Wozniczka.
